I'm sitting here at Panera Bread hanging online while John does homework. We couldn't get online at home. I Love the atmosphere here. So, I decided to blog some more. Yesterday I went with my Mom an Grammy, and 3 of my sisters to Mrs. Teapots, in Bellevue, KY. We met my Aunt Denise, and cousin Lorna there, to surprise Aunt Nesi for her birthday. It was so much fun. Mrs. Teapots is very cute, and their portions are very nice sized. Anyway, we all had a lot of fun. Hope, my youngest sister, who is almost 3, was so cute! The waitress there gave her a child-size teacup, and she did so well! She only spilled it once, but did very well after I showed her to set the cup down on the center circle of her saucer. I love her sooo much! We all do. Anyway, I think I'm going to go do something else on here, and not spend all of my time on this blog. lol. Well, tty all l8er!

Life...many changes!

I wrote earlier about my parents foster kids...Well, on December 18th, 2008, the adoption went through...was finalized, and they became ours!!! My parents changed the youngests name from Menia, to Hope Elizabeth. Now they are all 3 Wards! Our family changed from 4 to 7 kids in 1 day. Now, with me married to John, and the 3 new little ones, there are 10 of our family, from what used to be just 6. Amazing all the changes! But we all LOVE them so very very much!

I am currently in between jobs. I was working at Germantown Pizza Haus, but I don't enjoy waiting tables at all. So, I applied at Panera Bread, got the job, and was scheduled for orientation. The only problem was that I got the flu the night before and was still very sick the day of orientation...so now it had to be pushed off for 2 weeks! bummer! So last week I finished my 2 weeks at GT, but have all this week before orientation. And we live in a small apartment, so, needless to say, I am SOOOO bored! Cleaning is done, very very well, and I just have to keep the place tidy, and dishes...things like that. That doesn't take any time of my day at all. ugh! I've been reading a lot, and online fairly often. and its only monday. So I'm trying to think of things to do all week. Any ideas??? I could scrapbook, but I don't have the pics printed that I need, and can't get them right now. I think I'll sort out the papers I want to use in the album Wednesday. Tomorrow, thankfully, I have plans most of the day, so thats good.

I'm so ready for winter to be over! I'm ready to get back to the warm weather again...even if it does mean mowing grass again. lol.

In about a month an a half, we're going to be moving a couple of blocks away, to a house. That will be sooo nice. And I can decorate and paint it how I want to...unlike here. So I can make it cute. Thats going to be so much fun! And when we go to the Amish auction this spring, I'll be able to get furniture and odds and ends for decorating and filling up the house...though not too full. Just enough to make it homey. : ) I can hardly wait!!!

Happily married!!!

I've been happily married now for a little over 4 months! And it's been great! Life is very hectic, but great. John works 3rd shift for 3 nights at The Christ Hospital, as a PCA, and I work 3 nights as a waitress at Germantowne Pizza Haus. Then John has a wierd schedule with his classes, so life is a bit crazy. but i'm lovin' it! lol.

FRUSTRATED!!!

I'm so frustrated! life right now just stinks! Not really, I'm just frustrated about something. Other than that one thing - which is a big thing in my life for a couple more weeks, my life is great! I'm getting married in three weeks! actually only 20 days. Until then, life can get pretty frustrating. oh well, life goes on - thankfully! Enough of my rambling. I gotta get back to work.

Foster kids!

My parents just got 3 foster kids last friday. They are so adorable! Their names are Demetria, Ryan, and Menia (pronounced Mena). Their ages are 5, 3, and 2, and they are quite a handfull! lol. Ryan gets into EVERYTHING, and has soooooooooo much energy! and that boy does not require much sleep at all, even though he's only 3. Demetria, who we call Deedee, will go off by herself and play with dolls and a teaset for hours. And she doesn't make a terrible mess while she's off on her own either. But she is terrified of loud noises. Menia is a pouter. She pouts when you say the word "no" even if you aren't telling her no for anything. You may just be saying it to her in answer to a question, and she pouts. its so silly. lol. Deedee, and Menie are both legally blind so they have to wear these glasses that are so ugly yet so cute. lol. You'd just have to see them to know what I mean. But at least they can see with them. They are literally blind without them. The kids are so much work, but we love them so much. It is worth all the work to be able to give them a safe and loving home. And a home where they can learn about Jesus, and hopefully choose to have their own relationship with him soon.

Flowergirl baskets... Other ramblings... wedding plans, etc.

I got two small buckets that I'm gonna use for the flowergirl baskets. They will be so cute! I found one that had ribbon bows tied to either side of it, so that is where I got the idea. I am gonna spray paint them white, then hot glue two ribbon bows that match all the other ribbon being used for the wedding, and the bridesmaid dresses, on either side of each bucket.
My two sisters' dresses are made now ( they are bridesmaids), and my train is finished for my dress. Joanna and Rebekah's dresses still aren't finished. We found dresses for the flowergirls, but still need to make the ballero's for them, because they are sleeveless.
I hope that it all turns out nicely. I don't have specific expectations on how it should go, but I want it to go smoothly. That is all I ask.

I am soo bored! I am sitting at work, at the Lab in Rush Memorial Hospital, in Rushville, playing on the computer... and writing in my blog. I had three draws upstairs, two of which were the same patient, a peak and a trough draw, and I've had one outpatient so far. It's 9:00 am. The outpatient drawroom closes at 12:00 noon, and then I just sit here waiting on calls from ER, and do paperwork until 4pm. BOOORING! But its definitaly a cush job, compared to working at Mcdonalds. lol. I work there all week and here on saturdays. Until the wedding. Then I will find a part time job in Cincinnatti. But I probably won't need to work all week plus saturdays. actually, I know I won't have to work that much. Hopefully just 3 or 4 days a week. I'm so looking forward to that! I'll actually have 1 or 2 days off work besides Sundays!

Heather called me last night, asking for measurements for my bridesmaid dress. I am getting married Aug. 1, then I will be a brides-matron? in her wedding on Oct. 3. How fun! I hope. lol.

Hmm... what can I talk about now? I'm soooooooooo booooooooored!! I guess I'm gonna quit for now.

Pictures

I love this picture! Peter Casalino Jr. took it for us. It is on the website that he set up for us. He also has other pictures of us on there - And a link to see our wedding program. He's so good! That's who is doing our videography, and his mother-in-law is doing our photography for our wedding. Well, enough again for now.
